When the new squad under new local ownership joined the FHL for it's 5th season in 2014-2015, sights were set high! Former player Brent Clarke lead a squad of FHL vets & rookies to the regular season title in the FHL. Then after dispatching the Danbury Whalers in the first round of the playoffs the Wolves found themselves in a position to capture the Commissioner's Cup. It took all 5 games of the FHL Commissioner's Cup Finals to determine a winner but the Wolves were able to bring the Commissioner's Cup to Watertown.

During this off season the FHL is facing a lawsuit but has added a new team in Port Huron, Michigan while Steel City is suspending operations until the 2016-2017 season. Meanwhile the Wolves are searching for a new coach as Brent Clarke stepped down to pursue other opportunities and the team is also has it's home arena status in limbo as the City has begun the much needed renovations which may last until January. The FHL season runs from late October to early March.
